Hi Tweets

I am interested in observations concerning Common Yellow-throats
utilizing non-wetland habitats during the breeding season. A good example
occurs at Mima Prairie where they nest in Scot's broom that is invading the
prairie.
I have also noted the species using dry habitats at Carstairs Prairie near
Shelton
(salal/serviceberry/fir thickets).

I am also interested in the question:
What is the minimum habitat size used by breeding Savanna Sparrows west of
the
Cascades? This includes groomed pastures and, and more importantly, less
disturbed salt marsh communities.

Thanks
