Hi. After a long day the 22ed with out seeing the bird we returned
in the rain this morning ( 23ed) Arrived about 8:30 am . Lots of mist
and low clouds . Many many gulls loafing and cleaning at the mouth of
the river. We found the GBBG after several minutes of searching. Were
able to view it as it cleaned . Not long after we found the gull a
Boeing 737 took off to the south and blew most all of the gulls
away. Probable only 10 or so left . We then made the long wet run
home .
