Location, more details and a Flicker display:

People have called wanting to know where this "bird house" is. It's in West
Seattle on Puget Ridge a half a block south of Puget Park (which is
connected to almost 3 miles of the West Duwamish Greenbelt -the most in the
city, with at least a mile or two of forested trails accessed a block away).
It has 2+ bedrooms and 2 full baths, 2700 sq ft. I'll e-mail fact sheets to
anyone who requests one.

One more correction. I said the house had a peek of the Cascades. I should
have said the Olympics. The main view is to the West to the 68 acre wooded
Camp Long park and the Greenbelt to the south of it west of Longfellow
Creek.

2 Northern Flickers were apparantly courting in front of the kitchen window
today in a display that included spreading their red shafted tail feathers.
One spent a few minutes tanking up on suet at the feeder. Though Pileateds
frequent the adjacent woods none have come to the feeder so far.
