We have not had house sparrows at our yard that we have noticed until just recently when we put up a nest box under the eves of our roof. Now all of a sudden one showed up with his incessent chirping. It drives my husband nuts. So he is seriously thinking of getting one of these devices. You can catch the birds and remove them to a place far away.

The Starlings have been nesting inside the eves of our house. They chewed their way through the bird blocks in our vents and have managed to raise 3 litters before we could blink an eye. We have not had the heart to block the holes with baby birds inside.
