Per the note below (and I've verified the activity), it looks as if an Osprey pair is attempting to nest on a light tower in the Boeing parking lot at Oxbow on the Duwamish. The spot is located just to the south of S102nd St after you cross the river east to west. This is very late, especially given that the time from incubation to fledging (not even counting nest-building) is about 90 days. Photo is available.

The oxbow nest is starting to take shape today (Friday 7/2). On Wednesday, it was just a stick or two as near as I could tell. It was just in the engineering/planning stage. The method seems to be that one of the pair stands guard while the other gathers material. Sounds like a Boeing Facilities project.
