Subject: Hunting, pro or con, Banned topics on Tweeters, etc

Let it be on the record that I find nothing offensive in Martyn's posts. He
is a person with knowledge and ethics and I appreciate his willingness to
put his opinions and knowledge out there in an environment that maybe
unsympathetic. On the whole I I find this to be a friendly and helpful site,
and I have learned a great deal here about my relatively recent interest of
birding. However, to my surprise, I have found my very long time commitment
to animal rights has not always been consistent with some of the views
expressed here. There have been times when I have bit my tongue (or should
I say fingers) very firmly after reading posts that show limited
appreciation of species other than our own. I admire Martyn for not letting
such ignorance and insensitivity go uncommented upon.

Despite your claims to the contrary, your inflammatory remarks about hunters
were nothing but offensive, demonstrating some very twisted logic.

I am shocked that the moderator has not revoked your posting privileges.
