I spent the day with David Myers helping out on the annual
Wahkiakum County NABA butterfly count. The count total was
17 species when I left, but Bob Pyle and Alan Richards were
getting ready to go look for findable misses when I left.

The best bird of the day was a singing HAMMOND'S FLYCATHCER
at a private residence above Skamakowa.
