This is the Vancouver Natural History Society's Bird Alert for Friday July

North Vancouver.

Sightings for Friday, July 9.

Three MARBLED GODWIT were present at the Tsawwassen Jetty's compensation
lagoon.

A GREEN HERON was reported from Jericho Park at the far end of the west
pond.

Thursday, July 8

Nine LAZULI BUNTINGS were recorded on the Colony Farm weekly Bunting survey.
There were 5 males, 2 female & 2 juveniles.

Wednesday, July 7

A PACIFIC LOON was sited on English Bay near the foot of Trafalgar.

Seen off Spanish Banks was a BRANT'S CORMORANT.

Tuesday, July 6

Reported from Pitt Meadows Grant Narrows were 4 EASTERN KINGBIRDS & 2 TURKEY
VULTURES.

Three MARBLED GODWITS were at the compensation lagoon on the Tsawwassen
Jetty.
