Greetings,

This was a good day for biding Big Gulch from my second-story balcony. Black
and Yellows have it for the highlight: an adult male Wilson's Warbler
obligingly came within a few feet of my 'perch' and a pair of Bullock's Orioles
foraged the few caterpillar tents hanging in the alder trees; the male cleaned out
one that was just a few yards away. Then the female Black-headed Grosbeak
came by; I haven't seen the male yet today. The Grosbeak pair has been in the
gulch all season.
