Hi,
A few weeks ago I stopped a small hawk type bird who was stalking a flicker in my yard.
I would assume a hawk would be going after something like a junco, guess not, not worth the effort for such a small meal.
The crows usually do a good job of chasing hawks off my property, one thing crows are good for.
Luckily I had come out of the house at just the right moment.
So, hawks and falcons kill woodpeckers, wonder if eagles do too?
