Hi Tweeters,
I have always fed the birds in the winter, and as this is my first summer bird feeding attempt, I am wondering how many of you have Robins come to the feeders? I have never seen Robins come to the feeders before, under them yes, mostly for worms.
This afternoon I saw a Robin getting the grapes out of the hanging dish I had placed a few days ago. He was eating them and then taking one in his beak and flying off with it. I know they eat berries as it evident from their poop, so I guess that red seedless grapes are now on the menu as well??
and a new book to read and view is: Chased by the Light by Jim Brandenburg, you may have seen his video on TV also, a fantastic book of pictures and the birds are gorgeous!
