Rare bird alert for an out of town INDIGO BUNTING.

Sightings for Sunday, July 11
A male INDIGO BUNTING was seen and heard at Cheam Lake RP today. The bird
was last heard near the main parking lot. Also at this location were a LEAST
FLYCATCHER, a GREEN HERON, 9 EASTERN KINGBIRDS and 5 BULLOCK'S ORIOLES.

The male REDHEAD was again reported from Reifel. A female PURPLE MARTIN was
also reported.

The HOUSE WREN at the foot of 104th was again observed.

Two COMMON NIGHTHAWKS were observed over Burns Bog.

Saturday, July 10
A GREEN HERON was seen on a nature walk at the Hastings Park Sanctuary.

Friday, July 9.
Three MARBLED GODWIT were present at the Tsawwassen Jetty's compensation
lagoon.

A GREEN HERON was reported from Jericho Park at the far end of the west
pond.

Thursday, July 8
Nine LAZULI BUNTINGS were recorded on the Colony Farm weekly Bunting survey.
There were 5 males, 2 female & 2 juveniles.

Wednesday, July 7
A PACIFIC LOON was sited on English Bay near the foot of Trafalgar.

Seen off Spanish Banks was a BRANT'S CORMORANT.
