Thought you could help me clear up a grAy area in my knowledge. Did the AOU decide to change the way it spells "gray" in bird names to agree with the BOU's spelling?? I noticed you and others are spelling "Black-throated Grey Warbler" and "Grey Jay" the Brit way.
Has the commitee for worldwide spelling uniformity (a branch of the One World Government) struck again? Please say it ain't so!
I am hoping there is a fairly Black and Whyte answer for this..
