Saturday, July 3, 7:36 PM. Hi, this is Stephen Mlodinow. Sorry for a belated
report. At the Everett Waterfront, yesterday July 2, there were 3 adult
ARCTIC TERNS. These were viewed from the Everett Boad launch which is Tenth
which can be reaced from Marine View Drive. At the Everett Sewage Ponds, on
the North Pond there was a female REDHEAD, there was also a bird that was at
least partially a RING-NECKED DUCK, a male. The other parent is not clear
but probably not a RING-NECKED DUCK and at Tualip Bay was a MEW GULL and a
BARROW'S GOLDENEYE. That's it. Good luck and good birding.

Wednesday, July 7, 6:11 PM. This is Tom Aversa reporting on a trip up to
Skagit County today. Up at the Concrete-Saux Valley Road, at the Heritage
Inn, nice fields there, there was an EASTERN KINGBIRD also quite a few BANK
SWALLOWS there, probably about 20. Further down the road, to the east at the
BANK SWALLOW colony, there was very little activity, I really only saw one
or two birds there so I don't know if they are nesting there or not. At the
west 90 ponds there were 4 GREATER YELLOWLEGS and 4 SHORT-BILLED DOWITCHERS,

Wednesday, July 7, 7:20 PM. This is Rachel Lawson, BirdBox System
Administrator. The BirdBox has a slight glitch right now in the reports that
is the second one after this report so when it keeps taking you back to the
first report, just keep pressing 3 and you will eventually get to the
report. I think that will work. Good luck and good birding. Thanks.

Wednesday, July 7, 8:34 PM. Hi, this is Sam Terry, 206 329-9038. This
morning I had no luck with the Marblemount ALDER FLYCATCHER but I did have
one AMERICAN REDSTART at both the Slagit and Whatcom sides of the county
line ponds and also at the Whatcom side were 2 VEERIES and one EASTERN
KINGBIRD. Then this afternoon, from the base of Tenth Street at the Everett
Waterfront I had one to two ARCTIC TERNS. That's it. Good luck and good
birding.

Saturday, July 10, 7:45 PM. Hi, this is Stephen Mlodinow. Today on the WOS
Fieldtrip to Whidbey Island a partial alternate plumage STILT SANDPIPER at
Crockett Lake was seen, also at Crockett Lake there was an alternate
plumaged DUNLIN and about 10 alternate plumaged SEMIPALMATED SANDPIPERS
among a couple thousand PEEP.
At the west 90 ponds, there were a couple hundred PEEP including several
more SEMIPALMATED SANDPIPERS.

Good luck and good birding.

Sunday, July 11, 6:02 PM. This is Michael Fleming, 206 297-3234. This is a
late report, actually, on a trip taken to the Okanogan area last weekend
with Larry Moss. On the fourth we stopped at Connors Lake near Loomis and
there we had a YELLOW-BREASTED CHAT, BLACK-CHINNED HUMMINGBIRD and VEERY. We
continued up to the Okanogan Highlands that late afternoon and evening. We
stopped at Lost Lake. We had BLACK-BACKED WOODPECKER and then we went on to
Beaver Lake which is a little further down the road and had a SOLITARY
SANDPIPER there. The next morning, we headed up to Teal Lake. At Teal Lake
we had a BUFFLEHEAD with young.

Good luck and good birding.
