11:54am start - water level low and all mudflats visible (higher parts quite dry)
12:37pm end

Tweeters,
Strong breeze from the south today, with the morning high fog burning off leaving partly cloudy skies. The young Hamm Creek OSPREYS continue to mature, and what I would guess is the elder of the three siblings is starting to test its wings more often. Just spreading and occasionally flapping them, but not rising up off the nest. The male Osprey brought in more nesting material. One of the Oxbow Ospreys was atop a light pole in the parking lot to the south of my viewing spot, pulling apart a fish.

The first Black-capped Chickadees I've seen at this spot since April 19th.

Birds seen during this scan include the following:
Canada Goose (34)
Mallard (4)
Double-crested Cormorant (6)
Great Blue Heron
Osprey (3 adults, including 2 at Hamm Creek; 3 young)
Killdeer (6)
Least Sandpiper (4)
Glaucous-winged Gull (7)
Rock Pigeon (10)
American Crow (10)
Cliff Swallow (5)
Barn Swallow (2)
Black-capped Chickadee (2)
Marsh Wren (heard)
American Robin
European Starling (~500)
Song Sparrow (2)
House Finch (7)
American Goldfinch (2)
House Sparrow (2)

May all your birds be identified,
