Sightings for Friday, July 16

Thursday, July 15

Five BLACK OYSTERCATCHERS, 2 adults & 3 juveniles were seen at the
Tsawwassen Ferry Terminal's compensation lagoon.

Reported from the Reifel Refuge were 4 SANDHILL CRANES and the male RED
HEAD.

Wednesday, July 14

No calls

Tuesday, July 13

There was a July 11th late second hand report of a BROWN PELICAN at the
White Rock Pier.

Near 112th in Delta were 14 COMMON NIGHTHAWKS.

Large numbers of up to 150 RHINOCEROUS AUKLETS were seen a short distance
off shore on Lighthouse Park at Point Roberts. Also here were 2 WESTERN
GULLS.

Monday, July 12

Reported from Reifel were the male REDHEAD, BARN & GREAT HORNED OWLS, 20
LESSER YELLOWLEGS and a WHIMBREL.

Sunday, July 11

A male INDIGO BUNTING was seen and heard at Cheam Lake RP. The bird was
last heard near the main parking lot. Also at this location were a LEAST
FLYCATCHER, a GREEN HERON, 9 EASTERN KINGBIRDS and 5 BULLOCK'S ORIOLES.

The male REDHEAD was again reported from Reifel. A female PURPLE MARTIN was
also reported.

The HOUSE WREN at the foot of 104th was again observed.

Two COMMON NIGHTHAWKS were observed over Burns Bog.
