Tweets;
Greetings from humid and noisy New York City! I just wanted to pass
on that I just posted a webpage of images from my recent (all too brief) visit
to the Winthrop area. The page can be found at:
http://kenallaire.com/journals/okanoganjournaltext.html
I have not yet built in links to this page from elsewhere on my website.
The page is not limited to images and discussion of birds- I actually would
be quite grateful for some guidance from those of you who might have some
knowledge of local butterflies and mammals- I admit to some questionable i.d.'s on
these pages! I also gratefully accept notes regarding typos...
I also have a collection of film photos at the following page:
http://kenallaire.com/photos/washingtonphotos.html
These images are of much better quality, and presented in a larger format,
than the digital stills that compose the journals page.
I also believe I identified my mystery Sullivan Pond birds, through careful
study of my shaky and long-distance video- I believe they were American Coots,
although I wouldn't swear to that in court! Goes to show, technology only
carries one so far....
Once again, I always delight in my visits to your fair state, and hope any of
you who head east will reach out for local guidance. Happy birding!
Regards,
Ken Allaire
