A ROSE-BREASTED GROSBEAK was at a feeder on 12 Jul near Killarney Lake in
Kootenai Co ID. Unfortunately, I don't have any other details.

The LEAST FLYCATCHER found at Cold Springs NWR near Hermiston, Umatilla Co
OR on 27 and 29 Jun by Craig and Judy Corder was still singing on 15 Jul. To
get to the bird, turn right after the entrance and go about 0.8 miles to end
of road. Take the gated road on right that heads east and walk it about 0.5
miles until mature cottonwoods are on both sides of road. Look for the bird
in the middle of the stand on the south side, maybe 200 feet from the road.

On 9 Jul, Steve Mlodinow, reporting that images of the Liberty Lake, Spokane
Co COMMON GRACKLE were sent to some national experts and the consensus is
that the bird is really a GREAT-TAILED GRACKLE. The bird frequents the golf
course on the southeast corner of Molter and Valleyview. WA DeLorme 88, C-8.

If you have any questions about birds on the report, call me before 9 pm at
208.883.0943. If you see any of the birds mentioned in this report, be sure
to let me know.

Good birding.
