Today's highlights from Paradise on Mt. Rainier:

White-tailed Ptarmigan (1) - Same spot as last year just East of where the High Skyline & Skyline trails meet. Today there was a male resting in the shade from a snow bank below the trail.

Baird's Sandpiper (1) - A very nice surprise. Seen flying and calling from the High Skyline trail before landing near a stream.

Gray-crowned Rosy-Finch (6) - Mostly from the East end of the High Skyline Trail.
