Featured bird is BLACK-CROWNED NIGHT-HERON.

Sightings for Thursday, July 29
Reported from the Reifel Refuges Fuller Slough was an adult BLACK-CROWNED
NIGHT-HERON. Also reported from
Reifel today were 4 SANDHILL CRANES and a RED-NECKED PHALAROPE. Seven MUTE
SWANS were seen near the Westham Island Bridge.

Observed at the Tsawwassen Ferry Jetty was a WHIMBREL.

An AMERICAN KESTEL was observed at the BOUNDARY BAY RP. Close by at the
Beach Grove Lagoon were 4 SEMIPALMATED PLOVER.

Wednesday, July 28
Five BLACK OYSTERCATCHERS were present near the Compensation Lagoon on the
Tsawwassen Ferry Jetty.

Tuesday, July 27
Reported from the Reifel Refuge was an adult BLACK-CROWNED NIGHT-HERON & 2
WILSONS PHALAROPE.

Two COMMON NIGHTHAWKS were seen in the evening at Colony Farm RP.
