Hello All,

Today on our way over to the Tri-cities we observed 500+ Am. White Pelicans off Badger Island to the north of The Walla Walla River delta. This is the largest number we have seen this year in the Lower Columbia Basin. Maybe part of the missing North Dakota contingent? We will be out early Sunday morning to start the fall shorebird survey on the delta. Later Mike
