Greetings All

The brief and sweet summer season (at least as defined by North American
Birds) has passed (or will do so in about 5 hours)----

So, it is time for Tom Aversa and I to beg, plead, whine, cajole, and
otherwise torture you into sending us your reports of rarities. The summer season is
defined as 1 June through 31 July. You can send your tantalizing summary to
Tom and I both via FieldNotes at WOS.org or individually at SGMlod at aol.com and
tom.aversa at zoo.org

Also, if anyone has any killer photos of the Alder Fly, I'd be thrilled to
have a copy for publication in North American Birds (sorry, they don't pay for
photos --- or me either --- its all for the glory).

Best Wishes
Steven Mlodinow
