Greetings All,

Just a brief update (since it's the end of the month) on the little patch of urban birding I first "discovered" on June 8th. The 100 Arce Woods is located in NE Lakewood. As of this morning we are up to 61 species with the appearance of a juv. Red-breasted Sapsucker and a lovely spirialing flyover by 3 Ospreys. At the end of June the count was 49, so we added 12 in the month of July. My favorite was an immature Green Heron.

If they don't end up tearing it up for a strip mall, it will be fun to watch it through the whole year. If anyone wants directions or a list, just contact me off list.

Good birding!

-Rolan
