In my mind, boats are part of the world we live in. If the bird wasn't
restrained, and it sounds as if it wasn't, then in my mind it should be "countable."
The environment is going back to pre-human days anytime soon. Indeed, some
"pre-historic" animal distributions likely were due to humans.

I believe the British Bird Records Committee would accept such a bird as that
BF Booby while the ABA would not. Not positive on that, though.
