Hi Tweets,

Today I took a trip through the north part of Grant County looking for
migrants.

Soap Lake East Beach produced a nice Black-bellied Plover beginning to molt
to breeding plumage. Also present were 4 American Avocet, and a single
Red-necked Phalarope

Lake Lenore produced a single FRANKLIN'S GULL along with three Bonaparte's
Gulls. Breeding Barrow's Goldeneye were evident in good numbers.

Alkali Lake had a pair of Red-necked Grebes that may be breeding in the
area.

Sun Lake State Park produced one (possibly two) female AMERICAN REDSTART. In
addition I found a single Willow Flycatcher, several Warbling Vireo, one
Cassin's Vireo, many Western Wood-Pewee, one Swainson's Thrush, one
MacGillivray's Warbler, and many Yellow Warblers.

All in all a good day.

Cheers
