Pilchuck Audubon is trying to work with the City of Edmonds to require some restoration efforts by the developer, Triad who "accidently" cut down all of the trees on the UNOCAL hill above the Edmonds Marsh.
If you know this area or have any lists of birds in the area please contact me directly. Also if you know of information about putting up snags (after all have been cut) I really need the information. Seems like this might have been done somewhere -- Also if you have any other suggestions for restoration I would like that too. The Wildlife biologist hired by the city of Edmonds and Triad is on a short time line and clearly works for the developer so I need whatever information anyone can share with me -- (yes I am in contact with Don Norman and Ted Peterson already)-
Thank you very much.
