Greetings again,

I stopped by the oak woods at Lakewood and Steilacoom in Lakewood for the second day in a row and had different results, but the same good fortune! This time there were less varities of Flycatchers, but the new faces were nice:

A flock of closely associated Great Blue Herons (7) flew in together, decorated a dead tree for awhile, then left as a group. Family?

A few Blue-winged Teal were a pleasant surprise, and a pair of Bulock's Orioles as well. Got to watch a Towee feed one of her oversized youngsters.

A Savannah Sparrow and a Brown Creeper rounded out the fun.
