Hello, this is the Audubon Society of Portland Rare Bird Report. This report
was made Thursday June 10. If you have anything to add call Harry Nehls at
503-233-3976.

On May 31 a BROAD-WINGED HAWK was seen near Frenchglen. A PHILADELPHIA VIREO
and a female ROSE-BREASTED GROSBEAK were at Malheur NWR Headquarters June 3..
On June 4 a LEAST TERN was observed flying over the display pond at Malheur
Headquarters. It was seen again on June 6. A CHESTNUT-SIDED WARBLER and two
RED-EYED VIREOS have been at Headquarters all week. The EASTERN PHOEBE
continues to be see along the Little Deschutes River south of Sunriver.

On June 4 a CALLIOPE HUMMINGBIRD was at Jewell Meadows in the Coast Range.
On June 9 three BLACK TERNS were at the Vanport Wetlands in North Portland.
A LARK SPARROW was seen June 6 at Ramsey Lake near Kelly Point Park in North
Portland. An EASTERN KINGBIRD and several RED-EYED VIREOS were at the Sand
River Delta June 7.

On June 5 a WHITE-FACED IBIS was at the Baskett Slough NWR. A GRASSHOPPER
SPARROW was south of Brownsville June 6.

On June 6 a CATBIRD and a REDSTART were at the Indian Ford Crossing north of
Sisters. That day a DUNLIN and a BAIRD?S SANDPIPER were at Summer Lake.
