Yesterday evening we visited Coppei Creek and saw and heard the following species.

Yellow-breasted Chat........5 birds
Gray Catbird.....................7+
Veery...............................11birds
Lazuli Bunting................... 9 birds
Black-headed Grosbeak......7 birds
Calliope Hummer................2
Western Tanager................4
Swainsons Thrush..............10
Yellow Warbler...................20+
Willow Flycatcher...............8
Western wood-pewee..........5
Cassins Vireo.....................4
Bewicks Wren....................4

And much more. This one mile stretch of road has outstanding bird diversity!
