Subject: flying birds at 3 AM?

Hi All:

When I lived in the Greenlake area, violet-green swallows woke me up more
often than I liked. Usually this was between 3:00 and 4:00 AM. I'm *not* a
morning person - I don't want to hear anything at 4:00 AM. My windows were
closed, but I could still hear them. I posted something to Tweeters about
it, and the responses I got indicated pre-dawn flights by swallows weren't
uncommon.
