Hi Tweeters,

I took three people up to see a pair Spotted Owls northwest of Cliffdell last night and got some photos that are an improvement on my others. I relied on digiscoping this time and the results were much better. Three photos of the Spotted Owl are in the New Photos folder on my website.

We saw both of the pair this time. They seemed very eager for the mice we took for them, suggesting they have kids in the nest. Our guest from Western Washington was getting a mouse in place on the stick and was still holding onto its tail when the owl took it. Luckily for Alan, the owl grabbed the mouse at the other end.
