On an evening bike ride through Cornwall Park, just after 6 PM, I heard the
distinctive sounds of mobbing activity. I dismounted and, after an easy search,
located the object of the mob -- a Barred Owl. There were at least 8 robins
surrounding the owl, which was no more than 10' off the ground.

The owl's perch was in the cool, dark shade of the park, well off the beaten
path.
