Hello All,
While out in the field this week we located the following great birds between Wickiup Campground and on east to FSRD 42 on the Umatilla National Forest in Asotin County.

25 Red Crossbills
2 Great Gray Owls
2 Common Poorwills(roosting side by side at base of basalt rim,got great photos)
1 Black-backed Woodpecker
3 Pileated Woodpeckers

Also saw two Black Bear (one blond morph animal), 37 Elk, 1 Coyote, 2 White-tailed Deer and 30+ Columbia Groundsquirrels.
