Tuesday June 22, 2004:
RED CROSSBILLS were seen at the bird feeders behind the bird store at
6404 Metral Drive in north Nanaimo.

Monday June21:
Two Greater Yellowlegs were seen at the Nanaimo River Estuary in south Nanaimo.

Sunday June 20:
Fourteen Sunday birders went on the Sunday Bird Walk to Doumont Gravel Pit. CHIPPING SPARROWS, OSPREY, WESTERN TANAGERS, TOWNSENDS WARBLERS, HUTTONS, WARBLING and CASSIN'S VIREOS were among the forty-nine species seen.
Two COMMON NIGHTHAWKS were seen over lot 89 at Rivers Edge subdivision in Parksville.
