This morning at 2:30 I was awakened by the insect like buzz calls of
juvenile Northern Saw-whet Owls as they were giving their food begging
call. Upon investigation, I was able to hear at least three of them, and
got good looks at one. Seems to be a bumper crop this year for owls, as
Barred Owls are also doing well .
