Hello All,
The gentleman with all the Hummers lives just south of Dixie, Washington 8
miles east of Walla Walla along HWY 12. Turn right or south onto Biscuit
Ridge Rd.(same as Upper Dry Creek RD.)in front of the tan brick school and
proceed 2.2 miles to the "Hummingbird Crossing" sign. This is the home of
Tom Lamb and he has placed 28-30 Hummer feeders up in his yard. He greatly
enjoys visitors and has had them from all over the world. The T.V. story was
incorrect on one fact and that is there are no Anna's Hummers present.
Washington's second Broad-tailed Hummer was discovered at this location 7
June 2002 . Tom has a very visitor friendly yard and is a very personable
friendly man.
The best window to visit Tom's hummer bonanza is 10-25 May and again 5-20
Aug.. Well worth a visit with a digital camera!
Later Mike
