Hi Nancy,

A very pleasant older gentleman operates "Hummingbird Crossing" at his home
on Biscuit Ridge Road (also called Dry Creek Rd) a couple of miles south of
the junction with US 12 in the hamlet of Dixie -- about 2 miles east of
Walla Walla. When I was there with one of Bob Sundstrom's Mercer Island
Recreation Dept trips last June 30 there were 19 different hummingbird
feeders at the home. The species were Rufous, Black-chinned, and Calliope.
There were chairs for visitors and a guest book with signatures from dozens
of people who had stopped to admire the birds.

Hi Tweets,
Has anyone heard about a man somewhere here in WA. that has over 600
hummingbirds visiting his yard? I heard from a source that there was a
piece on Teev about him, but not specific information. She said that people
go there to see them. I thought the birds were too territorial to flock to
one location.
