1:53pm start - water level high; one very small bit of mudflat along the south edge of Turning Basin #3 (TB3) exposed
2:20pm end

Tweeters,
Balmy north wind and incoming tide combine for a choppy TB3. Only one adult OSPREY seen at the Hamm Creek nest; no nestlings poked their heads up that I saw during this scan. Note: Haven't seen or heard Red-winged Blackbirds, which I believe nested at the TB3 restoration site, for over a week. Dispersed?

Birds seen during this scan include the following:
Canada Goose (13)
Mallard (16)
Common Merganser (5; including 4 young)
Double-crested Cormorant (2)
Great Blue Heron
Osprey
Glaucous-winged Gull (4)
Rock Pigeon (13)
American Crow (6)
Cliff Swallow (2)
Barn Swallow (4)
Marsh Wren (heard)
American Robin
European Starling (9)
Song Sparrow
House Finch (2)
American Goldfinch
House Sparrow (2)

May all your birds be identified,
