Jim and Tweeters,
The Upland Sandpiper is seen on Deno Road about a quarter of a mile West of the intersection with Hayford Road. This is a rather busy and narrow road so it is best to park off the road in the power sub-station parking area on the south side of Deno Road. You can also cruise the area looking for the bird on top of fence poles and be sure and check the tops of the large double wooden power transmission poles.
Most of this property belongs to my wife's family and they have become tolerant of birders and their ways but do not appreciate trespassers. Please do not enter the land or disturb this bird.
