12:35pm start - either slack tide or just starting to ebb
1:00pm end

Tweeters,
Cold breeze from the north (different for this time of the year) and airplanes taking off from SeaTac overhead--instead of heading for landings: a turnabout for the first of the month. The willows, both native and imported, are leafing out with some flowering trees on the south shore "pinking," too. Otherwise, very quiet.

Birds seen during this scan include the following:
Canada Goose (3; one pair plus one intruder)
Gadwall (2)
Bufflehead
Common Goldeneye (2; both males)
Double-crested Cormorant
Glaucous-winged Gull (6)
Rock Pigeon (11)
American Crow (3)
Bushtit (13)
Bewick's Wren
European Starling (3)

May all your birds be identified,
