I saw my first Golden-Crowned of the spring this afternoon (I hope the
weather was as beautiful for everyone as it was here today!). About
halfway up our driveway working her way through the oaks in the company
of a Black-capped Chickadee. And since there have been Rufous' sighted,
I got the hummer feeder all loaded up and outside today, too. I deleted
the post from the gentleman in Tenino, but if you could shoo one a
little north (Offutt Lake), I'd really appreciate it! :) Also, the
first Pied-billed Grebe in a while and we've been getting about seven
Golden-crowned Sparrows at the feeder (well, picking up loose seed off
the ground) early in the morning.
