I am in Ellensburg. The last 3 or 4 days we have had really nice weather.
But three days ago, all the birds at my feeders disappeared. I have seen
very few of them since. And today, I went down to the Wenas Game Range in
the Yakima River Canyon and hiked across the bridge and up the umptanum
creek for a mile.

Nothing. Nada. Not one bird!

AHHHHHH.....

I am having withdrawals!!!

Do they have a 'rehab center' were I can go for this?

They must have all headed down to the columbia river for the 10 degrees of
higher temps. Still, it iis was a very disappointing trip for me. It was 60
today and calm... but not a peep. I did see one bald eagle and one magpie
along the road. That was the only thing that saved the afternoon trip.
