Hello Tweeters,
This evening at 5.15 pm we had our first male Rufous Hummingbird.We need to put up a third feeder since we have so many Anna's whit two young birds ,coming to the feeder.As I write this Patrick spotted a female Rufous.That is unusual that both birds coming at the same time.We had in the past that the Male comes least a day or so earlier to look for a nesting site.It could also happen when we was going out of town and we did not discover the male to today.A fighting is beginning already between this two species of Hummers.
