Dear Tweeters,

Yesterday I noticed my first Turkey Vulture of the
season in Skagit County, a single bird soaring over
the farmland just east of Sedro-Woolley.

Also, during the last week, a few Wood Ducks have been
landing in a tiny pond by my house at dusk. I doubt
they'll stay, but it is pleasant to have such
visitors.
