Subject: Gulls under the Gun!

I find that somewhat hard to credit since gulls are protected under
federal law (to the best of my knowledge), so I sent an email to the
Region 1 Fish and Wildlife office (naming no names or lists) and asked
if that had occurred. I'll let you know when (if) I get a response.
