Yes, we have a pair that visit our yard. There is also a pair of pileated
woodpeckers that work in tandem. They are always together and fly together
as well. They were working an old alder yesterday. They moved around to
various trees and we could hear them pecking most of the day. They are
stunning birds. I managed to photograph one from a distance.
