On March 13, 2004 at 11:30 AM Rudi Kammereck and Patty Ostendorff observed a flock of Sage Sparrows (interior race) ground feeding at Ginko Petrified State Park. They were in a shallow ravine about 100 yards north of the ranger's residence and parking lot.
