Mr. Stewart,

Who accused Mike of lying? You did, sir, by accusing
him of "making up stories." When one states that
someone made up a story, one is calling that person a
liar. Stand behind your statements, or don't make
them.

A long time ago, probably before Martyn Stewart joined
this group, or he wouldn't be treading down this path,
there was an obnoxiously offensive and venomous fellow
that hung out on Tweeters and who took it upon
himself, as often as possible, (daily or more often)
to tell others that they were ignorant and knew
nothing of the subject they were posting about.
Everyone who has been on here since the mid-1990's
knows who that person was. He would sit over there
making pronouncements about other posters' ignorance
on every issue. Thank goodness DB disappeared one
day.

One should weigh one's words very carefully before
condemning anything that Mike Denny says, especially
on this issue. Mike is one of the most knowledgeable
people in the state regarding what the State and
Federal governments are able to do legally with regard
to wildlife. He is also one of the most reliable
sources of bird-related information from SE
Washington.

If Mike says something is happening, it's ludicrous to
hear you say that it ISN'T happening. What, that
gulls have or have not been shot at the Walla Walla
City land fill? Matter of opinion? Get real.
