I was kayaking in Dabob Bay, off the Hood Canal, on Saturday 13th, and saw
around 100 Barrows Goldeneye in a single flock, by far the largest number I've
seen in one place.

Also in the same big flock were greater scaup, surf and white winged
scoters, common goldeneye, red breasted mergansers and a few common mergansers.
