On previous posts I attempted to identify the first two photos in "Birding"'
magazine's February photo quiz. Quiz bird A I called as a Ferruginous Hawk,
Quiz bird B I identified as a female Ruddy Ground-Dove. It is time to try
for Quiz bird C, the toughest of the three for me. Since going through the
field marks of all possible species lead to a long message, I thought I
would tighten this one up a bit. Comments and contradictions welcome.
